Last Saturday marks the beginning of an exciting Ninong-Ninang relationship with one of our Ninongs and Ninangs: Ninong Ed and Ninang Judy Niebling!

Prayer Request 02: Major Suppliers

But first!

Thank you God that our first choice for venue, Lina's Orchard in Los Banos, Laguna (Los Banos -- where Dong and I met; Lina's Orchard -- where I day-coordinated a wedding before our fateful June 27, 2009 date, where I gave my "Yes" to... dating Dong... more on this later) still had December 7 available for us when we went there to book last, last Saturday!

I didn't become a Bride-zilla. Praise God, and thank you to everybody who prayed! Now what?

I'm keeping this blog, that's what. Because things just got even more exciting. And it'll be nice to share how married life is so far for us newbies - with family members whom we don't see or talk with often, and with friends who are on this same exciting leg of life. Plus, I want to keep remembering details like Dong's versions of wise sayings and the lower back pains I got from jogging so hard one night because I was getting annoyed with him. I'm convinced that the first year of marriage is made up of the kind of stuff that will send your kids rolling on the floor with laughter on every re-telling. The same stuff that you can use as blackmail material in case your husband attempts to cut down your shopping budget. Kidding.

I'm keeping this blog because, as the wise saying goes, "a short pen is better than a long pen..." Ooops. There goes one of Dong's versions.
