Ten at Ted's

Dong and I rarely go out on a real date. By real date, I mean trying out a new restaurant or having dinner at our favorite place, and just talking and spending time together outside the house -- without running errands. So I was really excited about us turning ten months, because Dong had planned on taking me to this American diner-type discovery of his in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. My verdict? Ted's was worth the trip (and going back to in the very near future!)

Welcome! That's my pre-nup-turned-maternity dress.

These babies will greet you at the door. Each slice costs P80-90. Blueberry Cheesecake jars are at Php100+ each.

Ted's serves steaks (which they'd highly recommend that you have medium done) and grilled chicken/salmon at Php200+ to Php400+ per plate. They also serve Australian-style burgers (Php160-Php200+), soups, salads, pastas, pizzas (Php200+ and up).

I was very happy with my rib eye.
Dong was jealous of my rib eye

Peach mango shake and rootbeer float (around Php70 each)
Our desserts: Cappucino Cheesecake and Brazo de Fernando

Fernando's arm (chocolate brazo de Mercedes) was our favorite! Perfect with a mug of Ted's houseblend coffee (Php45).

I'm getting this on my next visit. I wonder why they don't have Mercedes. Another fascinating dessert is the Avocado Cheesecake.
More treats are available at Ted's bakery. Ted's also has function rooms for parties of 40-50 guests.

Look for Ted's along National Highway - on the left side if you're driving from Manila.
It's great place for dinner [date]. Just make sure you go there early for sure seats. Plus, food (at least the steak) takes around 15 minutes to arrive.
